The preparations are now well underway for our Symfony Live Conference this September. We are thrilled with the number of tickets sold during the early bird period, and for those of you who said “I’m definitely coming but I haven’t had chance to sort it yet!” (and we know loads of you) – don’t leave it too late, book now because we are predicting a sell out! We are now well into arranging all those little things at the venue, so a little bit about how that happened. The first time we went, Lorna and I went all over London looking for really special venues and were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the rooms themselves and the location of The Brewery. After we shortlisted it, Yair and I went down one final time to ask some questions and we made the choice. It’s a fabulous place.
Last week, Hannah and Aniko went to really start organising things and getting all those small things that make a conference perfect in place. Here’s Hannah getting lighting and seating arrangements in place with Juliet and David from The Brewery.
Things on our to do list now include:
- Polo Shirts
- Name Badges
- Sponsor’s Needs
- Evening Events
- Meals, snacks and beverages
- … and many, many more!
It’s a long list of stuff but we have staff with the experience and talent to get everything spot on. We’re all really excited about the conference, if you have any ideas, comments or questions please ask away!
