The news is finally out that iKOS Digital, a specialist Drupal agency, has now joined The Inviqa Group. As part of the group, this is particularly exciting news for SensioLabs UK.
Who is iKOS?
iKOS specialises in content and commerce sites powered by Drupal. Its team have undertaken projects for companies including Lush, Vivienne Westwood and organisations such as the NHS, and provide expert consultancy, support and training on all things Drupal.
What does this have to do with SensioLabs UK?
The Inviqa Group now comprises four brands: Inviqa, which provides bespoke web and mobile application development, Session Digital for eCommerce on Magento, SensioLabs UK for Symfony, and now iKOS for Drupal expertise.
The teams all work in close collaboration with each other, and with Drupal 8 arriving later this year, this is the perfect set-up for iKOS and SensioLabs UK.
Many major Symfony components will be used to create low-level architecture in Drupal 8. Symfony developers will be familiar with HttpFoundation, HttpKernel, EventDispatcher and ClassLoader for example, but many Drupal engineers will not.
Together SensioLabs UK and iKOS are perfectly positioned to help enterprises looking to migrate and update to the new release.
It’s business as usual from us all here at SensioLabs UK. We will still provide Symfony training and consultancy to help our clients get the most value from their systems, and will work closely with the iKOS team as Drupal 8 draws ever closer.
For more information on the merger, please feel free to contact us. If you want to get your team up to speed with Symfony ahead of Drupal 8, our next training sessions are now open for booking. Check out:
