Getting set for Symfony Live London 2013

Symfony Live London is less than a week away. Here’s what’s in store along with all the useful stuff you need to know.

Registration is between 8:30 and 9am. We recommend arriving in time to grab yourself a coffee and a croissant and meet your fellow delegates. Don’t forget your ticket!

Training Day - 19th September

If you’re attending a Symfony Workshop on Thursday, you need to bring your personal laptop with you, equipped with software configuration equivalent to the following:

  • Apache2 web server
  • MySQL5 servers
  • PHP 5.3.3 or later with PDO MySQL, PDO SQLite, intl and XDebug
  • The IDE of your choice (Eclipse, Netbeans, Zend Studio, PHPStorm...) or a text editor (TextMate, VIM...)
  • PEAR and PHPUnit 3.6.x or 3.7.x installed

Conference Day - 20th September

Kick-off is 9am and after a few opening words from me, we’ll get straight into the main event. Knowing what you want to get out of the conference beforehand really helps when deciding what talks you’ll attend. Fabien’s closing keynote is a must-see. You’ll be the first to hear about the new ‘game changing’ feature in Symfony 2.4.

Check out the full schedule.

This is your chance to meet the speakers, sponsors and your fellow delegates. It’s taking place at the Barrowboy and Banker, only 5 minutes from the conference venue. And this year it’s generously sponsored by
